Summer of 2018 only a few weeks after his successful 2nd annual camp, Georges inked a 3-year deal with the Utah Jazz, solidifying a life-long dream to play at the highest level in the NBA. Georges is committed to making his annual camp and charity efforts back in Ames  a priority as he places great emphasis on both when returning 'home'.

Just 3 days after launching his first successful camp in 2016, Georges was drafted by the Indiana Pacers as the 50th selection in the NBA Draft. Georges is currently playing for Santa Cruz, a NBA G-League team.

One of the most decorated players in Iowa State history, Georges finished his career as a 3-time All-Big 12 player and the winningest player in ISU history.

What makes Georges story so special includes re-committing to his game by losing weight and increasing muscle mass, making defense a greater priority, and battling thru injuries yet still averaging over 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, all while shooting excellent percentages from 3, the free throw line, and the field. He has proven to have an unmatched work ethic as one of the toughest offensive players to guard in all of college basketball.

A native of the Boston area, Niang quickly embraced his legacy as a role model for young people and exemplary leader to set the example for many youth in the area. Never turning down an autograph or finding a way to make a difference, Georges is humbled & excited to give back for this special one day to the countless fans who have cheered him on to victory!

“He’s special. I’m fortunate to coach him."
- Iowa State Head Coach Steve Prohm

" Why is George Niang perfect college player? Has contributed to winning from Day 1, didn't have 1 or 2-and-done potential & still dominant.”
- ESPN Basketball Analyst Fran Fraschilla
