Summer of 2018 only a few weeks after his successful 2nd annual camp, Georges inked a 3-year deal with the Utah Jazz, solidifying a life-long dream to play at the highest level in the NBA. Georges is committed to making his annual camp and charity efforts back in Ames a priority as he places great emphasis on both when returning 'home'.
Just 3 days after launching his first successful camp in 2016, Georges was drafted by the Indiana Pacers as the 50th selection in the NBA Draft. Georges is currently playing for Santa Cruz, a NBA G-League team.
One of the most decorated players in Iowa State history, Georges finished his career as a 3-time All-Big 12 player and the winningest player in ISU history.
What makes Georges story so special includes re-committing to his game by losing weight and increasing muscle mass, making defense a greater priority, and battling thru injuries yet still averaging over 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, all while shooting excellent percentages from 3, the free throw line, and the field. He has proven to have an unmatched work ethic as one of the toughest offensive players to guard in all of college basketball.
A native of the Boston area, Niang quickly embraced his legacy as a role model for young people and exemplary leader to set the example for many youth in the area. Never turning down an autograph or finding a way to make a difference, Georges is humbled & excited to give back for this special one day to the countless fans who have cheered him on to victory!

“He’s special. I’m fortunate to coach him."

" Why is George Niang perfect college player? Has contributed to winning from Day 1, didn't have 1 or 2-and-done potential & still dominant.”

Lyndsey (Medders) Fennelly was an Iowa State All-American and starting point guard from 2003-2007, leading the country in assists her junior year. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, she is proud to still call Ames home as she is married to current ISU women’s basketball coach, Billy Fennelly. Their most active teammates are Will (4) and Callie (1).
"I've known and watched Lyndsey since she was an all big 12 performer at Iowa State. I've witnessed her transfer her knowledge and experience as an elite player to younger players. Her high basketball IQ allows her to teach the advanced and she has the patience to teach the basics to younger players. No matter your skill level, Lyndsey will cater to your strengths while working on your weaknesses because she cares. Lyndsey cares about the way the game is played and how the game can shape and mold the character of a young person."
- Debbie Antonelli, Women’s Basketball Analysts
"Intelligent and always learning, Lyndsey is one of those people that is truly passionate about her craft. For her, it's not work, but a labor of love. People like that are infectious and can't help but make you better."

“Lyndsey is a phenomenal coach and skills instructor. Her workouts are intense, purposeful and progressive. She gets players better, period. But even more impressive is her commitment to improving lives off of the court. She is genuine, authentic, and of high character. I am thankful to call her both a friend and a colleague. Lyndsey represents everything that is ‘right’ with youth basketball.”
– Alan Stein, Owner of StrongerTeam.com
“I have watched Lyndsey work out a wide range of ages and talent levels. There is no one better! She reaches, challenges and motivates High School, Collegiate and Professional Basketball Players. She breaks the game down and connects with each of her students and everyone improves.”
